What size dogs do you accept?
Daphne's Doggy Daycare specializes in small dogs up to 25 pounds. Dogs outside that range may be considered case-by-case when appropriate for the existing group.
What vaccinations are required?
Dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis/Adenovirus, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza (often recorded as DHPP) and Bordetella vaccinations. Current vaccination records must be provided before the first visit.
Do you accept puppies?
Yes. Puppies are welcome once they meet the applicable vaccination and health requirements and are an appropriate fit for the daycare environment.
Do dogs have to be spayed or neutered?
Intact dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on age, temperament, behavior and group compatibility.
Do you accept dogs taking medication?
Certain medication needs can be accommodated. Parents must disclose medications in advance and provide the medication in its original labeled container with clear administration instructions.
Are dogs kept in crates all day?
No. Dogs have opportunities for supervised play, enrichment and comfortable rest. Crates may be used when appropriate for safety, meals, rest, overnight routines or a dog's established routine.
Will I receive updates about my dog?
Yes. Personalized updates may include photos, videos and daycare report cards.
Do you offer transportation?
No. Daphne's Doggy Daycare does not currently offer pickup or drop-off transportation.
Do you offer baths?
Yes. A $25 bath package is available and includes bathing, drying and brushing.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Yes. Families receive $10 off each additional sibling.
Is there an additional holiday charge?
Yes. A $20 holiday surcharge applies to designated holiday bookings.
Policies
Vaccinations & health
Dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis/Adenovirus, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza (often recorded as DHPP) and Bordetella. Current records are required before the first visit. Dogs must be free from fleas, ticks and contagious illness, and should stay home until well enough to return to group care.
Medications
Please disclose all medications before daycare or boarding. Medication must arrive in its original labeled container with written instructions: name, dosage, time/frequency, administration notes and any precautions. Certain needs can be accommodated with advance notice. Please also share allergies and medical considerations.
Temperament & group compatibility
Because this is a small, shared home, every dog should be able to participate safely and comfortably. Temperament, play style, energy, age, size and compatibility with the current group are considered. If a dog's behavior causes ongoing stress or a safety concern, group care may not be the right fit.
Spay & neuter
Intact dogs may be considered case-by-case based on age, temperament, behavior and compatibility with the current group. Acceptance is not guaranteed.
Crates & rest
Dogs are not routinely kept in crates. Crates may be used for structured rest, meals, overnight sleeping routines, safety, or for dogs who feel most secure in them. The goal is always whatever best supports each dog's comfort.
Feeding
Please provide your dog's food when feeding is required, and enough for the entire boarding reservation. Pre-portioned meals are preferred. Include amounts and the normal feeding schedule. Dogs may be separated during meals for safety and comfort.
What to bring
Blanket, bed, treats, favorite toys, wipes, puppy pads, food, medications, something that smells like you, kennel/crate, and food bowl. We can provide clean, personalized essentials if you forget something — the only thing we cannot provide is your pup's food, so please pack enough for their entire stay.
Meet & greets
Meet & greets are held by appointment at Lenora Park in Snellville, Georgia on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. They're a relaxed first step for new dogs before booking daycare or boarding. Our home address is shared once a booking has been scheduled.
Late pickup
Dogs must be picked up by the agreed time and within business hours. A 15-minute grace period is provided; after that a $10 late fee applies, plus $10 for each additional 30 minutes. If an overnight stay becomes necessary, the boarding rate may apply subject to availability. Please call as soon as you know you'll be late.
Cleanliness
The home receives daily cleaning and regular deep cleaning as part of maintaining a comfortable, well-kept environment.
